This intensive workshop helps individuals bring into focus ways to build ministries using God-given gifts and characteristics unique to each person. This easy to follow workshop can help anyone discover and create a personal plan to reach others for Christ while living a life of service.

The workshop calls for a shift in the way Christians look at what ministry is and how it can be applied to those who most need it. With practical, pertinent ways to move the focus of ministry from “in the church” to “out of the church,” this course provides guidance and encouragement to make a real impact on others in exciting and relevant ways.

FORMAT / TIME FRAME

This workshop is typically a one-day session held from 8AM to 4PM on a Saturday with a one-hour break for lunch. An alternate format is Friday night from 7:00PM to 9:30PM continuing on Saturday at 8:30AM until 12:30PM. The workshop can also be expanded to a weekend retreat. In most cases, this workshop should not be hosted on a weekday as most people will not take off work to attend.

PRESENTATION

Todd's teaching style combines high-impact PowerPoint slides with movie clips, interactive participation from attendees, and videos that will drive home the points with impact. Small group breakout sessions allow attendees to discuss the material and interact with each another.

Todd has been speaking to church, civic, and business groups for over 20 years with a contagious enthusiasm and quick wit. His knowledge of a multitude of topics gained from a diverse career history enables him to relate to many types of people with various backgrounds - usually with stories sure make you laugh. His heart is application so you are guaranteed to walk away with practical steps toward improving your life and relationship with Christ.

COST

If you are a church, company, ministry, or individual wanting to host a workshop, we have found the best arrangement is for the host to cover Todd's travel expenses (see
Speaking Guidelines) and an honorarium of a minimum of $1,800 for the workshop. The host also covers the cost of the workbooks, which are $10 each, and all promotional costs. The host then sets the registration amount at whatever is needed to cover all the costs of hosting the workshop.

A company hosting a workshop usually covers the cost for its employees to attend.

We do not want finances to keep you from hosting a workshop. If the above costs do not fit within your budget, contact our office to discuss alternative plans.

WORKBOOKS

Each attendee receives a high quality workbook with diagrams, scriptures, and notes from each session of the workshop. The host covers the cost of workbooks, which are $10 each.

LOCATION AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

The meeting room should be setup classroom style so participants can write in their workbooks, but for larger church groups, a church auditorium will work.

A video screen adequate for all to see must be available. Todd will bring a video projector. Large windows allowing natural light into the room may need to be covered to improve video visibility.

Todd prefers to teach from a small waist-high square or rectangle table that allows his laptop computer to be placed along with other resources he refers to during the workshop. He operates his presentation with a remote control that he brings with him. He prefers a stool to sit on and a lavaliere microphone.

PASTORAL LEADERSHIP SUPPORT

If a church is hosting the workshop, it is vitally important to have endorsement from the head pastor. This means support by the pastor from the pulpit during Sunday mornings for several weeks leading up to the workshop.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

Intercessory prayer is vital to insure the spiritual success of a workshop. We strongly recommend the formation of an intercessory prayer team that will meet at least once a week 30 days prior to the workshop.

RESOURCE TABLE

Two 6-8 ft resource tables are needed for products and resources that Todd brings to the workshop. The host is responsible for providing a volunteer to assist with resource table sales before and after sessions.

PROMOTION

We suggest an organizing committee be created to take responsibility for promoting and organizing the workshop. We suggest 2-5 people on the team with a chairperson who insures that all deadlines are being met. Presentations to local business groups and groups within the church should be made sixty and thirty days before the workshop.

Promo DVD

We suggest this be shown in the church service a month before the event.

We offer several promotional items to help you publicize your workshop. Our two-sided four color postcards can be imprinted with your workshop information and mailed to your mailing list. Be sure to note if you want us to overprint the postcard with your location or if you will do that. Cost for the postcards is 15 cents each.
